Campus Card
Information about the benefits of using your Campus Card, where to use it and what to do if you lose it!
The benefits of using your card
When you enrol at the University you will receive your Campus Card. This card allows you access to the University Library, 24-hour IT/Computer Facilities, study lounges and some buildings and rooms where card access facilities have been installed (which may include your Hall of Residence).
For some services you will need to use the Campus Card in conjunction with the PIN (Personal Identification Number) that you can retrieve from the Campus Card Portal. The photograph taken of you will become part of your electronic student record and will be used by the Schools/Departments that teach you and by other support services to get to know you. The Campus Card is not an identity card but we strongly advise you to carry it with you at all times since it is evidence that you are a student at the University of Reading.
Top up your Campus Card account to pay for Printing, Library fines and food, drink & services at the tills using the Campus Card Portal. By using the Campus Card to pay for items at our tills you may benefit from special discounts and offers exclusive to those who pay using the Campus Card.
