Research Supervision

I am interested in supervising research in decision theory and behavioural economics. I am especially interested in applying insights from individual decision-making under uncertainty and over time in the field. My focus is thereby predominantly, but not exclusively, on developing countries. This research takes the form of the modelling and measurement of individual decision making processes, and the application of insights gathered from such modelling exercises to design policy interventions. Examples of such applied projects include the design of savings programmes, uptake of insurance, and technology adoption. I am also interested in supervising fundamental research on the same issues, mostly involving the modelling of decision making processes and the measurement of parameters pertaining to those models.
