All things relating to raising orders, raising and paying invoices, processing internal charges and processing expense claims. I oversee the E, ,J and K project codes and write and edit our web pages. I also manage the photocopiers for the School. I use the Agresso Business world database for most of the financial work.

I have been at the university for a number of years. I have a degree in Environmental Biology and I started as a technician in Plant Ecology. I then moved to Horticulture to support research and teaching at the field station at Shinfield. Various reorganisations resulted in a move to back to the Whiteknights campus eventual integration into the School of Biological Sciences. My early work envolved growing plants in a research setting but when Horticulture moved back to Whiteknights my expertise in data analysis morphed into computer support and I became an IT technician developing my interest in computers and all things technological. I have to admit to a liking for gadgets! IT support was rationalised and I was encouraged to take up my present role in Accounts applying my skills, knowledge and experience of supporting research and teaching to a different area.

In February 2015 I am returning to an IT role within Information Technology where I will resurrect my IT skills to assist on the Service Desk.
