Continue your architectural studies with our new Master of Architecture (MArch) course: a postgraduate programme, and the second stage in becoming a qualified architect in the UK.
Our School of Architecture, a remodelled, historic building, opened to students in September 2016. Its teaching and learning facilities include dedicated studio space, available for your use seven days a week.
We are part of the renowned School of the Built Environment, which has strong industry links. Study with us, and benefit from:
- our experienced team. The vast professional experience of our team — which includes architects, practitioners and design tutors — will enhance your studies, and provide you with valuable, real-world insights.
- an industry-relevant programme. We have worked closely with industry partners to develop a curriculum which is responsive to architecture’s ever-changing forms and expectations.
- specialist facilities. In addition to our studio space, we place strong emphasis on digital technologies — as such, you will have access to a purpose-built, 3D digital design environment.
Architects Registration Board (ARB) has prescribed our Master of Architecture as a Part 2 course under the Architects Act 1997 until December 2028. Our professional course is also validated by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA); this is formal recognition from RIBA that our course achieves the standards needed to prepare students for the professional practice of architecture.
