Learning Capture Rooms - Department owned

For Phase 2 of the Learning Capture Project, departmentally owned rooms are receiving enhanced audio for lecture capture.  Starting with those rooms having the largest capacity, surveys are being carried out and discussed with schools to ensure that rooms selected are appropriate for the recording of lectures.

Rooms are being fitted with microphones best suited to their size and layout and will be equipped with either a specialist ceiling/wall-mounted microphone or a lapel microphone, and YuJa software on the main PC.  This set-up provides a recording of the session audio, along with anything presented on the screen, such as PowerPoint slides.

The following shows the schedule for departmental rooms being YuJa-enabled.  

Please note that due to global delivery shortages and the limited availability of rooms, it may not be possible to complete all the rooms listed below before the start of the new academic year.  We will update the list as rooms are scheduled.

'PC' indicates that a room is a PC lab.
