All of our Schools and Departments use Turnitin for assignment submitting, marking and feedback, making assessment simple.
Turnitin is a web-based tool which is integrated into Blackboard, and is primarily used for text matching and checking plagiarism within assignments that are submitted by students.
Tutors are also able to use Turnitin to mark and provide feedback on students' work, and so it is an efficient and convenient way to handle the submission of coursework and assignments.
Turnitin checks assignment submissions for originality against internet pages, previously submitted student assignments from all UK institutions who use Turnitin, and subscription periodicals, journals and publications.
Students are able to submit assignments and coursework online through Turnitin, which is integrated into their course on Blackboard.
MARKING AND FEEDBACK
Tutors are able to mark and give feedback on students' assignments through Turnitin, with the simple to use interface.
Marking is made easy for tutors, with the option to access Turnitin through a mobile device by using an access code.
