T&L Showcase: Students As Partners

  • Thursday 19th October 2017, 13.00-14.00, Miller G05, NO BOOKING REQUIRED

This informal session is for anyone looking for inspiration with how to involve students more closely in the design and development of their curriculum. Colleagues who have trialled approaches in this area will present their methodology and findings together with reflections on the 'students as partners' ethos.


  • Dr Despoina Mantzari, Law: Engaging PGT Law students in the redesign of a core programme module
  • Dr Jeanne-Louise Moys, Typography: Valuing undergraduate student voices in the Typography module design process
  • Rita Balestrini, Modern Languages and European Studies: Involving students in the appraisal of rubrics for performance based assessment in foreign languages

This session aligns with A1, A2, A4, A5, K2, K3, V1-V3 of the UKPSF.

Showcase: University Teaching Fellowship 

  • Tuesday 13th March 2018, 13:00-14:00, Edith Morley 124, NO BOOKING REQUIRED

This session will be led by a number of University Teaching Fellows and will provide staff with information on how to apply to the University Teaching Fellowship Scheme (UTFS).  This session aligns with A5, V3 and V4 of the UKPSF.
