Background

Professor Giuseppe Di Fatta is the Head of the Department of Computer Science. Previously, he was School Director of Master's Programmes and the Programme Director of the MSc Advanced Computer Science.

He joined the University of Reading in 2006. From 2004 to 2006, he was with the University of Konstanz, Germany. From 2000 to 2004, he was with the High-Performance Computing and Networking Institute of the National Research Council, Italy. In 1999, he was a research fellow at the International Computer Science Institute (ICSI), Berkeley, CA, USA.

Professional bodies/affiliations

Professor Di Fatta serves on the editorial board of the Elsevier Journal of Network and Computer Applications (JNCA). He is the founder of the IEEE ICDM Workshop on Data Mining in Networks and has chaired several international events, such as the 2015 International Conference on Internet and Distributed Computing Systems.
