Begin Programming: Build Your First Mobile Game
This seven-week beginner course teaches the basics of Java programming through the example of a simple mobile game that you can run on your computer, Android phone, or tablet. This course is a great introduction to the world of programming – whether you're learning for fun, to develop a new skill, or to prepare for a computer science course.
This four-week beginner course teaches you about the history of robots and the jobs that robots are now doing in a range of environments – from homes to hospitals and even outer space. You'll also explore the fundamentals of robot design using the example of Eric – the University of Reading robot. Observe the inner workings of a robot and understand how the sensors, moving parts and computer "brain" work together to allow the robot to complete its tasks.
