Welcoming students from KMITL

Join our community of inquisitive thinkers working to solve the problems of the twenty-first century through technology, in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Reading.

We teach our students the essential skills needed for today and tomorrow's computer scientists, including programming, software design, networking, operating systems, web technology and computer security.

These skills ensure our students are well-placed upon graduation, with graduate destinations ranging from small start-up companies to multinationals such as Bank of America, JP Morgan and Microsoft.

Our enviable location places us in the heart of the UK's IT sector, with companies such as Oracle, Cisco Systems, Hewlett Packard (HP) and Intel having their UK headquarters nearby. Several of these companies have provided active input into our teaching, ensuring the skills we pass on are relevant to the needs of the IT industry.
