Areas of interest

Dr Luo's research expertise covers building and urban scale environmental design to achieve sustainable, resilient and healthy buildings and cities, in particular:

  • smart buildings (climate-responsive architectural design, weather forecast-based building energy simulation)

  • healthy building (indoor air quality, inflectional disease control and ventilation)

  • urban microclimate (urban heat island, urban air pollution and urban ventilation).
