Working with EAL children: a workshop for primary school teachers and speech and language therapists

Working with EAL children: a workshop for primary school teachers and speech and language therapists

This workshop is an opportunity for primary school teachers and speech and language therapists to share experiences and perspectives around the relationship between EAL and SLCN. Attendees will take part in practical activities that will support their understanding of how to assess children when it is difficult to know if languages issues are related to EAL or SLCN. They will also learn more about the sort of interventions that might work for children who have both EAL and SLCN. Please note that places are limited to 20 teachers and 20 speech and language therapists for this workshop.
