We investigate the living world at all scales: from genes to individuals, from populations to ecosystems. We aim to change the way people think about, and study, ecology and evolution.

Our biomedical engineering research focuses on understanding the brain and designing technology to manage diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and epilepsy, and improve longevity and health.
