waspWhat You'll Learn

Working both in the laboratory and out in the field, you will learn to recognise the characteristics of plants and vegetation and vertebrate and invertebrate life. You will learn to collect samples, identify different species, and determine the frequency of their occurrence. You will also learn how to make vegetation and animal surveys and assessments in the field.

The modules on this MSc have been designed to give you the knowledge and skills needed by ecological consultants and other ecologists and conservationists: this is a course geared towards making you stand out in the field.
