The Protein Data Bank (PDB)

This is the main database of protein structures. Crystallographers deposit their newly determined structures here and they are made available at the Protein Data Bank website. The aim of this section of the practical is to enable you to navigate through the site and find appropriate information, both for this course and in the future. It should also give you an overview of the structures which are currently known and how they have been determined.
