    • Skeletal manifestations of advanced age (46+ years), and sexual dimorphism of the human skeleton.
    • The life course and social treatment of the elderly in archaeological contexts.
    • Mass graves and skeletal evidence for inter-personal violence.

    Background

    Ceri is a bioarchaeologist, who has worked as a professional osteoarchaeologist for a UK commercial archaeology company for over 15 years. Her main interests are osteological ageing and sexing methods, especially in "the elderly". She has published in journals such as American Journal of Physical Anthropology, Journal of Forensic Sciences and International Journal of Osteoarchaeology.

    Ceri is also the secretary of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA) Human Osteoarchaeology Special Interest Group, and has appeared on BBC's Digging for Britain.
