Key Facts:
Ceri is a bioarchaeologist, who has worked as a professional osteoarchaeologist for a UK commercial archaeology company for over 15 years. Her main interests are osteological ageing and sexing methods, especially in "the elderly". She has published in journals such as American Journal of Physical Anthropology, Journal of Forensic Sciences and International Journal of Osteoarchaeology.
She is a member of the British Association for Biological Anthropology and Osteoarchaeology (BABAO), the American Association of Physical Anthropologists (AAPA), and the Chartered Institute for Field Archaeologists (MCIfA status). Ceri is also the secretary of the CIfA's Human Osteoarchaeology Special Interest Group, and has appeared on BBC's Digging for Britain.
