We offer two innovative and very distinct marketing degrees: Consumer Behaviour and Marketing, and Food Marketing and Business Economics. Consumer Behaviour and Marketing offers an integrated programme, combining the disciplines of consumer behaviour, business, marketing, applied psychology and applied economics, whereas Food Marketing and Business Economics combines business management, marketing and economics, with a focus on the food industry in the UK and globally.
Students studying on one of our marketing degrees are highly sought after graduates.
“There was so much more than just standard lectures – great guest speakers, networking opportunities and business opportunities, among other things that I feel set Reading aside as a brilliant place to learn. And to top it off, all this took place on a stunning campus with a fantastic social life. I cannot recommend it highly enough.”
Consumer Behaviour and Marketing
A sector-leading degree combining applied psychology and marketing, our Consumer Behaviour and Marketing programme gives you an in-depth understanding of the cornerstone of all marketing activity: consumer behaviour. It is vital to the profitability and success of any business, service provider, policy think-tank or trade organisation, and we cover everything from fast-moving consumer goods to luxury goods.
Food Marketing and Business Economics
The food industry is one of the most fundamental, dynamic and innovative sectors of the global economy – one with excellent career potential. Our BSc Food Marketing and Business Economics programme will prepare you for the food industry of the future by providing training in three interrelated disciplines – business economics, management and marketing – as you explore the key challenges facing the UK, European and global food industry.
