GIIDAE prepares to welcome PGT students with a schedule of activities for Welcome Week

Staff in the Graduate Institute of International Development, Agriculture and Economics (GIIDAE), based within the School of Agriculture, Policy and Development are set to welcome postgraduate taught students from around the world as they join the University of Reading to embark on the next stage of their studies.

Associate Professor, Sarah Cardey, Director of GIIDAE said: “We are looking forward to welcoming students here and will be hosting a series of events and activities to introduce them to GIIDAE, the School, their Programme Director and fellow classmates. We wish all students well as they embark on a new journey with us that will enable them to develop the skills and knowledge that they need to help them achieve their goals.”

Welcome Week will feature a variety of activities – some online, and some face-to-face in the Agriculture building. This will include time with GIIDAE’s Programme Directors who will be available to assist students with their module selection.
