Agricultural Economics

Congratulations on receiving an offer for a Masters programme in the Graduate Institute of International Development, Agriculture and Economics (GIIDAE) at the University of Reading. The diverse nature of our postgraduate programmes reflects our expertise spanning international and rural development, agriculture, agricultural economics, agri-business and finance, food economics and food insecurity.

Although the programmes listed below cover a broad variety of topics, they will all require an intermediate knowledge of economics. The following links are intended to provide you with additional training in economics so that you can prepare for this aspect of your postgraduate studies. The training should be undertaken as self-directed study, in advance of starting your programme in September.
