The equivalent minimum score requirements in our accepted English Language tests for an offer condition of 4.5 overall in IELTS are shown below:

GCSE English

Grade C

Please note this test is only acceptable for entry only if awarded by an Ofqual regulated awarding body and you have spent time studying at a UK school under the age of 18

IELTS (Academic) for UKVI SELT

Overall score of 4.5 with no element score less than 4.0

Please note this test must have been taken at a UKVI approved test centre

LanguageCert International ESOL SELT

B1 Certificate with a Pass overall and no element score less than 33

Please note this test must have been taken at a UKVI approved centre

Pearson PTE (Academic) UKVI

Overall score of 48 with no area less than 43

Please note this test must have been taken at a UKVI approved centre

Trinity Integrated Skills in English (ISE) I

Pass overall with Merit in each element

Please note this test must be taken in a UKVI approved centre

Trinity Integrated Skills in English (ISE) II, III, IV

Pass overall with Pass in each element

Please note this test must have been taken at a UKVI approved centre
