    These iron callipers, used to measure diameter, radius, or the distance between two points, have curved pointed arms of equal length which are hinged at the top. They belonged to Mr W. W. Field, a wheelwright in Winson, Gloucestershire. Mr Field retired circa 1960 and the business closed.
