    Ridging share of a plough. These have two mouldboards which face away from each other, which cut a deep furrow with high ridges on either side.
    The ploughshare is the horizontal, pointed, cutting blade of a plough. This is a 'ridging share'. Essentially, it consists of a share socket with a triangular ploughshare welded on. A ridging plough has two mouldboards which face away from each other, which cut a deep furrow with high ridges on either side.
