This lamp was manufactured in the nineteenth century by Polkey Patent Headlight. It is a headlight for use on trams or trains. At the time of acquisition in 1957, this type of light was still in use on rural train lines in Europe.

It was made by Polkey Patent Headlight. // It stands 18" high + the diameter of the reflector is 7 1/2".
