    DEACCESSIONED. Please note that this object no longer forms part of the Museum of English Rural Life collection and cannot be accessed at our institution. This coffin stand probably dates from the 17th century. It was originally found in the cellars of Speakers House, Ludlow. It was originally used in Ludlow Parish Church, and a similar one is to be seen in the church porch of Chastleton Church near Moreton-in-Marsh.
