This is a small round bell from Priory Farm, Monk Sherborne, Hampshire. It has the initials 'E.P.' on the underside, which may refer to Edward Pocock, who farmed at Priory Farm in the 17th century, or may refer to Edward/Edwin Plummer, possibly of Ramsbury, according to the Antique Metalware Society. The bell may have been used with cattle but is of a type more commonly associated with horses.

This type of bell is known as a 'rumbler' or 'crotal' bell and is more commonly associated with heavy horses than with cattle.
