    Wicker and mahogany cot. Thought to have been made c. 1840, it was offered to the Wigan and District Mining and Technical College.
    This wicker and mahogany cot originally had a canopy, which is now missing. The cot is thought to have been made c. 1840, and was in the possession of a family for a hundred years before it was offered to the Wigan and District Mining and Technical College, who passed it on to MERL.
