    This is an embroidered sampler of letters and numerals in black thread on a cream background, and the words 'Mary Rose Norwich Aged 8 years'. Lavinia Smith acquired it from Mrs Goldingham, whose mother had made it and was presumably Mary Rose from Norwich.
