  • Description
    Long-handled perfume ladle. It dates from the late-eighteenth century and was used for vaporising perfume.
    This long-handled perfume ladle has a rosewood handle and a wrought iron circular spoon with a flat bottom. The spoon of the ladle is a separate piece that is detachable. All sides have been smoothed and flattened, and corners rounded. At the end there is a small piece of metal at the end with a hole through, acting as a hook. It dates from the late-eighteenth century and was used for vaporising perfume.
