These are two items of thread nipper made from steel. It has cutters with spring loaded mechanism. There is also the inscription: 'GOLD SEAL // SOUTHERN SUPPLY AND MFG. CO. INC. //ST. PETERS BURG, FLA. U.S.A. // BALL BEARING NO. 104 // CHROMIUM PLATED // Patent 2597519'.

MERL Miscellaneous note- Georgia Charitou- 4 November 2014- The object belongs to the Kellman Collection. The items of the collection were used by the donor's father, Alexander Kellman, who was a tailor in Queens Road, Reading, Berkshire.
