A strainer made by R. A. Lister & Co., Dursley, Gloucestershire, 1950s. Purchased second-hand in 1986, for separating goat's milk.
An aluminium strainer with two detachable plates which have large holes. It came to the museum with the cream separator (93/59/1-31) manufactured by R. A. Lister & Co. of Dursley, Gloucestershire, and dating from the 1950s, and was presumably used to strain the milk into the receiving bowl of the cream separator. The separator was purchased second-hand by the donor in 1986, who then used it for separating goat's milk.
