  • Description
    Clinker picker used for removing clinker from a fire, and a stoking tool. The tool was found in a building in Silver Street, Reading.
    This tool is both a clinker picker, used for removing clinker (waste product) from a boiler, and a stoking tool, used for stoking the boiler. It has a long handle with three prongs, the middle of which can be moved by rotating the hand grip at the end of the handle. The tool was found by the donor in a building in Silver Street, Reading.
