This steel, 20 gallon, milk churn was used for transporting milk. It has two handles, and the lid has a chain and hook. It is inscribed: 'VIPAN + HEADLEY, MAKERS / LEICESTER / 80'. The number '80' in the inscription refers to 80 quarts, which is 20 gallons.
