    This is a 'Mysto' knapsack sprayer with polished copper container. It has manufactured by W. T. French and Son in Ladywood, Birmingham. It was used for distributing insecticides over vines, fruit trees, hops, potatoes, and destruction of charlock etc.

    MERL miscellaneous note –Georgia Charitou- 17 October 2014- See trade catalogue: TR REE P2/B 1139 (although here is shown model No. 3. The sprayer in our Museum store is model No. 1 which is similar but has polished copper container rather than tinned copper container). Manufactured by W. T. French & Son of Birmingham. it is also part of the Zeneca collection.
