  • Description
    A pair of ice skates with wooden soles and iron blades, but missing the straps. Each skate has two spikes and one screw for fixing to a boot or clog. They came from an area near the Wash, between Norfolk and Lincolnshire, and were used for skating on the Fens, which regularly froze in winter.
