    MERL Miscellaneous note-Georgia Charitou- 27 October 2014- This notice came originally from a pub in Washington. It was first acquired by Professor Kay (appointed director, NIRD, in 1933, who retired in 1954). It went to the National Research Council, then to the Department of Nutrition at the National Institute of Research in Dairying (NIRD) and finally hung in the office of the information officer.
