This is a large complete scythe with a wooden handle, heavy blade and all fixings complete. It was used as a harvesting tool made in America and with snead (or snath) handle probably of hickory wood. There is also the inscription: 'ROYAL SCYTHE SNATH // Superior Quality // Made in U.S.A.'
