Description
This is a steel punch with spring operation of the handles and a sharp cutting blade. The object is stored in a green box which has white lettering. There is also the inscription: 'Manufactured by M. C. Mieth // Port Orange, Florida'. It was used for making notches in paper patterns.

MERL Miscellaneous note- Georgia Charitou- 4 November 2014- The object belongs to the Kellman Collection. The items of the collection were used by the donor's father, Alexander Kellman, who was a tailor in Queens Road, Reading, Berkshire.
