Description
This is a plough plane, a fully adjustable grooving plane used for making grooves and joints. It has a wooden stock with brass trim, and is stamped with the name of the maker ‘GRIFFITHS NORWICH’, and of a previous owner ‘I. GRAVE’. The plane is part of a collection of woodworking and stoneworking tools given to the Museum by Mr Stamp.
