    This is lighter mortar made from a softer fibrous wood. The pounding bowl is deep and nearby worn through. There is a deep split on one side which has been repaired with a tin patch. The portable type was used by a family, and also by The Semelai, Tasek Bera in West Malaysia. It said to have come from Cameron Highlands.
