This is a cardbox that contains 37 small card bobbins. The 33 of them have black thread and the four grey thread. The box has the inscription ' 'Star Disc Bobbins Style L // English Sewing Cotton Co. Ltd' The bobbins are stamped with similar text.

MERL Miscellaneous note- Georgia Charitou- 4 November 2014- The object belongs to the Kellman Collection. The items of the collection were used by the donor's father, Alexander Kellman, who was a tailor in Queens Road, Reading, Berkshire.
