    This decorative basket, possibly used to hold flowers, is made from plaited and coiled straw. The plaits, which are made in a similar way to corn dolly making, are coiled and stitched together to form the base and the sides. This basket was in the donors' family for 100 years.

The plaits are made in a similar way to those used in corn dolly making. They are then coiled stitched together to farm the base and sides. Two types of plait are used. The handle is made of two plaits joined together. // Dimensions: Width: 33.0 cm Depth: 20.0 cm Height: 18.0 cm // Associated information: This basket had been in the family of the Donors for 100 years. // Possibly used for flowers.’
