    This is a small circular basket with shallow sides and no handle, for general domestic use. It is made from fine buff willow. It came from the Lawrence family who lived at the donor's home until the 1970s.

Slath tied in once, then goes straight into 14 pairs of base stakes. Pairing with fine rods. // Sides: Very thin side stakes x 28. 2-foot buff willow. 4-rod wale, start with tips, one set in and in front of 2 behind 2. 6.5cm high. // Border: 3 rod behind 2 border. Very fine. Damaged. // Handles: N/A // Lid: N/A // Dimensions: Base 20cm. Top 25cm. Height 6.5 cm // Anything else to note about this particular basket: [sketch of base] Well-made and well-used. Two diagonal corners in base used together to form a pair. Very fine willow. 2-foot side stakes.
