    This brown leather satchel was used for delivering chemist prescriptions by John Powell & Son, chemists at Reading, Berkshire. The satchel is divided into three compartments inside. The carrying strap and the fastening strap are missing. On the front there is a brass plate inscribed 'POWELL & SON CHEMISTS'.
