This is a 'cased' or 'ejector' print used for imprinting a pattern on fresh butter. This print has an acorn pattern design. It is inscribed, '1 only 2oz cased print, acorn pattern // from Howard Brothers Ltd. // Avenue Works, Chesham, Bucks'. It is one of a collection of moulds and prints made for exhibition in the Rural Industries Bureau in the late 1940s or early 1950s.
