    A cased or ejector butter print with a wheatsheaf pattern. Howard Brothers, Chesham. Rural Industries Bureau late 1940s early 1950s.
    This is a 'cased' or 'ejector' print used for imprinting a pattern on fresh butter. This print has a wheatsheaf pattern design. It is inscribed, '1 only 8oz cased print // wheatsheaf pattern // from Howard Brothers Ltd. // Avenue Works, Chesham, Buckinghamshire'. It is one of a collection of moulds and prints made for exhibition in the Rural Industries Bureau in the late 1940s or early 1950s.
