    This bell is presumed to be one from a set of horse latten bells which has been split up and used as sheep bells. It has a leather collar for hanging round the neck of a sheep. Bells were used to help shepherds locate their sheep.

The clapper is missing and has been replaced by an old nut.', No Lavinia Smith No. recorded.
