    A half round shave, made completely of steel. It was used for sharpening the ends of the tines when making hay rakes. It was used by and purchased from Ernest Sims, a rakemaker from Pamber End, Hampshire, who was still taking occasional orders for hay rakes in 1983 at the age of 88.
