    MERL Catalogue Form (temporary) – ‘Trap (Rabbit or Squirrel) // Mark- C145/1 // Place found: Caversham/ Pangbourne by river // Mr Hardy, Zoology Dept, University of Reading’, MERL Miscellaneous note - 'APPROVED JUBY TRAP' stamped on trigger pan. This 'humane' rabbit trap was invented by Mr R W Juby, Assistant Pest Officer, Hereford AEC in 1957/8. These traps, approved to take rabbits in their holes, were originally made by Gilbertson & Page, Hertford in the 1960s.
