    This is a cheese mould used for making larger French type cheeses, such as brie. This example is made of tinned metal and consisting of two rings. The top ring fits into a lip on the bottom ring. The upper hoop is removed once the curd has sunk below its level. This item was donated as part of a collection of dairy related objects from the University of Reading Department of Food Science.
